In the deepest depths of your fragile mind, hiding within the darkest corners of your true fears... you might just see it for a mere second. It prowls, sneaks, and preys on your innocent curiosity, luring you towards the path your sanity would forbid you to cross over into. Keep your eyes open... you might just see it. Once you do... you will spot a glasgow grin... an unknown grin that shrieks inevitable death. Shackled within the recesses of your psyche, bounded by your feeble drumming heart, and etched into your once pure soul... this monster you encountered for that split moment... it had became one with you ever since you begun your descent towards the darkness. Your will, your soul... your existence... now at the mercy of this malicious abomination that only displayed its overwhelmingly horrific grin... had begun laughing maniacally at your naivety. The single terrifying grin you encountered... will grow in numbers... numbers that would be beyond your comprehension, soon imprisoning you within the cage of its multiple maws while accompanied by that insane laughter. Then... and only then... you will see it. The true monster in your nightmares... the fiend of a thousand masks... and the true image of horror... whispering into your once sanity mind:
"Your will is no longer your own. You we're already dead before the nightmare had begun. I am the true epitome of terror that stops the drums of your heart... I am the absolute embodiment of horror that shatters the barrier of glass protecting your sanity... and I am the personification of corruption itself that consumes your once immaculate soul. Now... cower before my true form... writhe in despair upon my presence... BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH, YOGG-SARON!!"
This is so creepy, especially since it's so detailed. I've never seen such a carefully done piece containing Yogg-Saron before now... nor had I thought to come looking for it. Somehow, I ended up here from browsing art of the Dragon Aspects...
i truly love this piece. you really did justice to the how scary the god of death should be. i especially love that you included his shattered bonds on the edge. i really wish you would make another of C' thun i really don't see any good ones out there and i would love to see the god of Ahn'Qiraj through you eyes.
I don't play WoW, but i had a roommate last year who did. He got me interested somewhat in the lore and Yogg Saron caught my interest the most of the Old Gods. Here's what he said to me exactly "If you ever play, Yogg will the the thing you fear the most. Even Death Wing and Arthas won't terrify you nearly as much as him"
Amazing. If Blizzard could have made the art work for this douche bag this awesome, maybe wiping 20 times in one night for a server first would've been more rewarding for me......... See that one? Yeah, the one lying dead in the left hand corner? You guessed it; that's me not making it to the light in time... Wonderful piece <3
The great Lord of Insanity himself. He appears amazing in your work, little surprise there, the details is what makes this exceptional. The remains of the so called champions lie scattered, dismembered and in agony, all the while floating into his maw. The two different tentacles do look nice, unified by the plates but remain individual due to the end. A great piece of art, keep it up Unid.
