Incredible ragnaros concept. What I like most of it are the bits of coal that cover his body, you made them look great. The background is also a great achievement, along with the frozen light created by the mage.
A minor complain I have is the fire that ragnaros expells, it seems too transparent, I think it needs more opacity to make him look more menacing. This would make the entire scene to be more "orange" on the general lightning, resembling more to molten core.
Good ol' days of warcraft, overall, a great picture.

Updated now with more definded flames, mostly on hes shoulder parts, I will keep hes lower body abit cooler, but I defined the edges there abit too.
Also added some more colors to the flames and hes head.

Whoa, this looks WAY more polished than when you posted it on CA! The details look fantastic. :D I think you could add a bit more glow to the flames, but if you are sick of working on this by now, I understand. ;)

Thanks alot im glad u liked it ;) heh yeh been painting on for so long now it feels, on the edge of being sick of it:), but I have added abit more glow around the flames, I hope its possible to notice it, and yeh I hope you like.

im glad its better now:) Heh yeh I always try to listen to feedback, its sad to hear people dont often do it.

On a big piece like this when I spent alot of time on and just a few days painting it, I dont trust my own judgement that well, its good to have people with a "fresh" eye, they can see if stuff are wrong or not.

amazing work! I especially love Ragnaros' head.
Also the feeling in it is so powerfull, 1 tiny wizard against such a huge monster. Reminds me a bit of lord of the rings(the balrog scene) aswell :) definatly a fav
