All these diablo 2 stuff you have is so impressive and amazing. You really capture that "gloomy imminent doom" feeling that diablo 2 has.

Oh my goodness this is amazing! The level of detail here is unbelievable! Just look at the flickering glow of the fires, the beams of moonlight piercing the clouds. So many eye-catching elements. Thank you for sharing this.

Hi. You're amazing! If you could take a quick second to answer this, you would honestly change my life: What do I physically need to do during practice, each day, to eventually be able to create art like you? How did you learn and become so amazing?!!

Can you please break down exactly what one extremely motivated beginner student would need to do, each & every day when he or she sits down to practice, in order to create these incredible photorealistic 2d digital drawing/paintings?

People just say 'Practice.' But I do not know 'exactly' what this entails.

Can you maybe make me, like, a list or something?!! So I can then go out and explore those topics? Or at least tell me what I need to physically be doing with my practice time so I can get as good as you?

If there's any books/DVDs/tutorials you can recommend that totally helped you get better, that would be so freakin' incredible!!!

Thanks for the help!

Seeing the Worldstone Keep, Throne of Destruction, Pandemonium, and Durance of Hate in this sort of way would be absolutely awesome.

I so need to study interiors, buildings, or just generally scenery.

It's very hard to say that this is a dreaded place (where people are sacrificed) with an artwork like that. Amazing :D

Ah... it brings memories :)
Diablo 2 was somehow much more memorable than it's modern counterpart. But maybe it was just because the industry was young and there were no games like it in those times.

Wow, so many memories! Awesome work! This makes me want to draw my own fanart of landscapes and places in Diablo II, but I'm terrible at inanimate objects and mine wouldn't be as good as yours.

Thanks! yes I will be doing more diablo 2 fanart's in the future, so if you have anything on your mind feel free to write it:), I cant
garantee I will do it, since I feel it must be something I feel inspired and exited about, but I will definitely keep it mind when picking the next image to paint!.

Hmm i'm with kracov,  either that scene,  or heroes fighting baal with the worldstone behind them,  or heroes fighting or just the scene of the ancients.

The ancients are something I already been taking screenshots of!, i'm not sure if I will do it yet, but I do like that area,
maybe it will just be when they are in statue form, but it would be epic to have a figure standing prepared to to activate it,
and than the snow and stuff blowing around.

Unfortunately doing heroes fightling baal would probably be exceeding my ability to draw figures :/ maybe for the future:)

when you described that bit about the ancients... i already saw how it could look in the style you do. That would just be superb,  and as for baal fighting people; one day perhaps!

I always was scared or felt the power of Diablo whenever I watched him transform and go through Mephisto's portal.  Crushing those bones beneath his feet.  And then there's the scene where the dark wanderer reaches Lut Gholein, so beautiful.    City of the Damned is pretty dark, imagine a Pit Lord in the shadows approaching the viewer, and there's faint lava glow coming off the side.  Or the caverns in Diablo 1, the warrior is in chain mail and some light plate armor, wielding an azurewrath and a gothic shield.  there's some lava around him, but there are dark corners too.  And a Bull Charger is charging at him.

Thanks for the input!
I think it's this one your refering to with the act 2 cinematic:

Indeed its beautiful and I definitely would have liked to do it, but since its from a cinematic I kinda hesitate a bit
because its already so been so beautifully rendered and explored! But never say never, i'm sure there is something
from that I can do that is different! maybe they walk through a different area, or closer to the town.

I can definitely see myself doing something from act 4, I think I already checked that area out before, so I just got to
figure out the layout for the image and what part of the environment to feature:).
I also wanted to do the hellforge also from act4 before, maybe having a guy silloetted with a hammer in the air just about to break the stone, but I think that too is in a cinematic, which unfortunately removes some of the excitements I think.

But yeh there is so many options!, also there is very few pictures/images of act 1 aswell I think, I already tried to do
a picture of when the five stones gets activated, the one that leads into old tristram, unfortunately some stuff is just
very hard to make work, so a lot of what I decide to paint is also determinded what I think I can do :(.

For Lut Gholein maybe do a night scene? I like darker wallpaper anyway.

Don't let yourself be hindered by "its already in the cinematics".  The thing is that D2 is such an old game that many players have forgotten about.  And add to the fact that the cinematics 3D graphics are bland and outdated.

Do you want me to sketch the 5 stones? Then you can paint from my sketch idea.

Oh yeh true a nightscene could work!, I will definitely see if I got time to do it! thanks

As for the five stones image, thanks, but It will be fine I think, if I do decide to do it again I will
figure out something!, but now I have many other ideas I know people want to see so I will see
If I can do those, but thanks alot for the offer.
